Interventions
There are a number of interventions described on this
website that you can use to assist with preventing bullying
behaviour and responding to incidents of bullying behaviour.
These include a range of proactive
and reactive strategies, and details of
peer support approaches.
The ABA recommend that staff and students are appropriately
trained in these interventions and provide details of
organisations that provide schemes and training programmes.
If you would like to learn more about various anti-bullying
interventions including the expected outcomes and evidence of
effectiveness, we would recommend that you read the following
two reports produced by Dr Peter Smith, Goldsmiths
